![]() Those who for Christ’s sake sacrifice their life in this world will keep it unto life eternal. The life that will be preserved is the life that is freely given in service to God and man. The husbandman preserves his grain by casting it away. (1 Cor 10:31) And Christ’s law of self-sacrifice is the law of self-preservation. Jesus becomes first in everything they do. The life must be cast at the foot of the cross and the words of Christ will rule the heart and mind. (John 3:16)Only by falling into the ground to die could He become the seed of that vast harvest,-the great multitude that out of every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, are redeemed to God.(John12:24-25, Rev 7:9)With this truth Christ connects the lesson of a life of self-sacrifice that all should learn: “He that loveth his life shall lose it and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.” (John 12:25) All who would bring forth fruit as workers together with Christ must first fall into the ground and die to self. Only by yielding up His life could Jesus impart life to humanity. ![]() And do not present your members as instruments of righteousness to God,s! For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obay it in its lusts. But alive to God,s in Christ's Jesus's our Lord's. Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin. Knowing that Christ's have been raised from the dead, died no more.Death no longer has dominion over Him, For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all but the life that He lives, He live s to God,s. For He who had died with Christ's we believe that we shall also live with Hi. Even so we also should walk in newness of life, for if we have been united together in the likeness of His death certenaly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with. ![]() That just as Christ's was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father's. DEAD TO SIN, ALIVE TO GOD,S.what shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certinly not how shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ's Jesus's were baptized into the death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptized into death.
